Cookery Demonstrations

In the Civic Bar (ground floor, rear of the Civic Hall)

Lizzy Hughes runs Our Lizzy Cooking. She combined her skills as a school teacher and cook to create vegan cookery days from her purpose built kitchen in Malvern, Worcestershire. Lizzy enjoys using a wide range of locally grown seasonal produce. Lizzy has the Cordon Vert Diploma in Vegetarian Cookery. She loves exploring new ingredients and developing new recipes. She runs specialist courses in tofu, dairy free and gluten free cookery. She added, "I have been vegan for over 20 years, it's a great way of life."?She is pleased to be returning to her home town, Wolverhampton, for the West Midlands Vegan Festival. Birgit will demonstrate a selection of healthy lunches, all around veggie rich, low carb, high protein.

2.30pm - 3.15pm - Vegan Vitality
With Lizzy Hughes of Our Lizzy Cooking
Lizzy will demonstrate some quick and easy main meals packed with nutrients which are both vegan and gluten free.

3.45pm - 4.30pm - Vegan Chocolate Mousse
With Birgit Kehrer of ChangeKitchen
Birgit's famous and delicious chocolate mousse is irresistible!
