West Midlands Vegan Festival 2009

On Saturday 24th October 2009, we staged our second vegan festival at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton. Once again, the event was a fantastic success attracting 1,000 visitors!!

The festival featured nearly 60 stalls offering a wide range of hot & cold food, cosmetics, toiletries, clothes, books, gifts, information etc. Three separate talk areas each boasted a full programme of speakers, workshops, cookery demos etc throughout the day. The event was similar in size to our first festival in 2008, but this year also featured live entertainment throughout the day in an extra room. Entertainment included various musicians, performance poetry, a clown's magic show & a hip hop artist!

In the evening, many festival goers returned to the Wulfrun Bar for an After Party with more lively entertainment late into the evening.

The festival will return, bigger and better in 2010!! For news of future festivals, see our separate website www.midlandsveganfestival.org.uk
